Our upcycling centre in Tunbridge Wells provides training for young people in upcycling skills, working with furniture and bikes. They see their projects through from beginning to end – from deciding which piece and carrying out the work, to pricing and selling the finished project.  The young people also learn valuable business and employability skills, such as administrative and IT tasks, promotional and marketing skills, financial awareness, health and safety training, customer service skills, team building and business development.

We work together closely as a team to support, train and encourage young people to grow and become more independent.

Environmental benefits

Besides minimising the amount of discarded furniture and bikes being sent to landfill, we use donated paint that would otherwise have been thrown away, we repurpose broken and damaged items, utilise cast off pieces for craft projects, and we buy as little new as possible to support our positive environmental impact.

Commission your own piece of bespoke furniture

We take commissions for bespoke furniture, so if you have some suitably loved furniture at home that you would like a quote for upcycling, please get in touch with some phots and we will see what we can do.
