YMCA Romford Redevelopment

For over 100 years, YMCA Romford has been at the heart of our community, providing safe housing for young people experiencing homelessness, supporting families, and offering inclusive health & wellbeing programmes for people of all ages.

YMCA Romford has an ambitious approach for the next phase of its offer to the local area

This building will seek to improve the quality of accommodation on site, provide flexible ground floor uses including studio space for public and resident use, landscaping/amenity space, and reconfiguration of the parking fronting Rush Green Road. It is anticipated that a future planning application will be submitted in early 2026.
