Donating with Payroll Giving is a simple and easy way to give to YMCA Thames Gateway Group directly from your pay.

By making a regular donation, you will enable us to plan ahead and ensure your money is put to the best use.  Even donating as little as £5 per month, could help us pay for a place at breakfast club for a resident in one of our hostels, giving them a chance to meet informally with one of our housing coordinators.

Payroll giving donations are deducted before tax so for every £1 you give, the actual cost to you is just 80 pence. If you’re a higher rate taxpayer it will only cost you 60p. Whatever amount you choose to give will be paid directly to the charity through your monthly salary.

How to start Payroll Giving (in two simple steps!):

  1. Sign up to Payroll Giving online via YMCA Thames Gateway – GoodPAYE and choose us as your charity (you will need to check that your employer is set up with GoodPaye. If they’re not, then they will need to contact GoodPaye to sign up).
  2. Your employer will then start to deduct the donation from your gross pay, so it costs you less.
