The Bridge Trust Project (formerly The Bridge Trust) is part of YMCA Thames Gateway Group and provides supported housing in the West Kent area to single people aged 18 up to retirement age. The project has been supporting single homeless adults in West Kent since 1991 and has housed over 700 people since. We have also helped over 6,000 homeless people with advice, accommodation and support.

Housing

We provide secure and safe accommodation in the community alongside 1:1 support to help people recover from whatever issues they have faced that has led them to become homeless, or may be a barrier to them moving on.  There is much to do for homeless people in our region, and by working together with the local authorities, we continue to transform people’s lives by helping them to achieve independence and have a home of their own. Click here to find out more about our supported housing offer.

As part of YMCA West Kent, which is a branch of YMCATGG, we also offer housing at Ryder House, and provide supported accommodation for 34 young people aged 16+ which includes 3 parent and child units. Click here to find out more about our supporting housing offer.
