Make it a December to remember!
The past 19 months have been incredibly challenging and with rising inflation and cuts to universal credit, this year will be difficult for many people. Last year we were able to provide 2,259 presents to the most vulnerable and isolated members of our communities, thanks to the generosity of local people. With your help, we want to sprinkle some Christmas sparkle over our community and make it a December to Remember!
From our residents and those that attend our senior citizens or health groups, to families in need – we’re here to help but we can only do this with your support. Every donation will support people in your community.
• £5 could pay for a gift for a resident who is spending Christmas alone
• £10 could pay for a small gift and provide a meal for a vulnerable member of our community
• £25 could pay for an hour of cancer rehabilitation with our specialist team

Give a gift
If giving a gift is more your thing, you can support us by donating a new gift to be given to a vulnerable person in your local community. Gifts can be purchased online via our Amazon gift list (or purchased & delivered to one of our branches).
Winter Wonderland Event
Tickets are now available for our Winter Wonderland family event which takes place on 11 & 18 December in Dartford. Tickets can be purchased online here.
Coffee Morning fundraiser at YMCA Romford
The lovely Marcelle and friends are back and will be hosting a coffee morning to raise funds for our cancer rehab programme on Tuesday, 7 December at 10.30am (Romford Restaurant). Cake donations needed for our coffee morning

Winter Concert
YMCA Orchestra is back with a winter concert on 5 December (doors open at 4.30pm)! This promises to be a great evening of live entertainment with lots of Christmas hits and classics. Tickets can be reserved at our Romford branch, or by calling Trevor on 01277 225014. Proceeds will be split between our cancer rehab programme and Y Care International.
Zumba & Yoga festive fundraiser
Fancy trying something new? Jen & Meg will be hosting a beginners Zumba and Yoga taster session at YMCA Romford on Saturday, 4 December from 11:30am – 1:30pm. This is a festive fundraising event and all proceeds will support the work we do in the local community.
